My friend & former NOVA agency mate from back in NZ days, model-turned-TV/media personality, Nikki Phillips, gave me quite the birthday gift today by decking me out in some of her Dejoe men’s collection.
Not only did Nikki create Dejoie, she’s also the designer & director. I’d say definitely more than just a pretty face!
Locally, the range has been worn by everyone from Megan Gale (Australian model & actress), Ruby Rose (TV/media personality), Corbin Harris (Pro Skater) & Mario Lopez’s current EXTRA co-host, Renee Bargh, to name a few. Stoked to be joining that list & rocking Dejoie. Thanks so much, Nikki :).

Wow…
For this song to make it to the biggest commercial radio station in New Zealand – as an unsigned artist – is a real breakthrough & milestone to me. Especially being a NZ citizen. I mean, this is just a single from an EP..?? I’m just completely humbled & thankful.

You may remember I posted a clip from Open House LIVE a couple of months ago, where I duetted with a glorious voice. That voice belongs to good friend of mine, Indie/Soul artist, Ngaiire. And boy… She’s definitely one to watch in twenty-eleven.
With her wonderfully unique sound & style, she’s been hard at work, blazing trails & leaving sheer amazement in her wake across Australia & beyond. I honestly can’t wait till she totally blows up..!

Open House LIVE rehearsal
Last December, I performed at Hope 103.2 FM’s Open House, which was broadcasted live. Along with an interview, it was the first live performance of Don’t You Think?.
I had the pleasure of up-and-coming R&B sister trio, Favour, doing background vocals for me on the night too. And man… Their vocal blend is killer!
