It’s a cathartic experience getting to explore this character each day x

Beautiful has taken home five Helpmann Awards this year, including ‘Best Musical’! Wow!
From the beginning, at our very first table-read, we knew this was something special. Not only because of the incredible talent on display or the story… there was just a tangible energy in the room, framed with so much heart. What a way to kick off our final season and what an honour to be recognised for our work.
And beyond that… I’m so grateful that I get to share this experience with such a wonderful group of people. Massive congrats and love to the entire Beautiful family!

Our final Beautiful opening in Brisbane.
A night of unbridled celebration, glorious reunions and sweet memories. Thankful for this show and these people.
Big thanks to Institchu for making me look decent x

So excited to share that I’ve joined the cast of MADIBA the Musical: celebrating the powerful, inspiring life of Nelson Mandela.
Being South African-born, this resonates with me on a pretty intrinsic level…
Super thankful for the opportunity and look forward to opening in October!

We’ve officially opened Beautiful in Melbourne! The show went off, the audience were so generous and the best time was had celebrating afterwards.
I’ve said it before… My mom introduced us to Carole King’s Tapestry when we were kids. So it’s such a full-circle moment getting to be part of this very special show.
And this particular opening was made that much more special because she came all the way from NZ to be here. Also, I love that she made the official capture below from the end of the show – all smiles, glitter raining and waving to get my attention x

Not so long ago, I had a blood clot shoot to my right lung, killing off part of it. Essentially meaning I now live with 1.5 lungs.
It was an experience that left me confronted with my own mortality and with so many questions: why this would happen to someone so fit and healthy, what life’s really about then, whether I’d be able to ever perform again… Just so many thoughts.
It’s been the first time I’ve publicly shared about what’s been my greatest personal challenge. I’m extremely grateful to be here and hopeful about the future. Big thanks to Jonathon Moran and Daily Telegraph.

Had an ace time performing with my Beautiful family and Dami Im for Sony Foundation’s Wharf 4 Ward event.

Performing The Bush Concert series with Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the iconic Sydney Opera House was a career milestone and an absolute dream come true.

Words can’t quite encapsulate how magical Sydney opening night of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical was.
I know it’s early days and we’ve only just begun. But getting to work with this group of people has been such a dream. And the love we felt from the audience Sunday night was so tangible.
Can honestly say, I never in a million years could’ve foreseen Beautiful being part of my story. It’s a milestone moment, not only in my career but in my life.
The gratitude I feel couldn’t be more real x

By nature, I’m a pretty positive, optimistic, driven guy. I love life and am young at heart. But I’m not always strong. I don’t have it all together. Sometimes I really struggle.
I’m so thankful to be an R U OK? ambassador, because I get to play a small part in shining a light on what so many people grapple with: mental health.
