Since April, I’ve been quietly working on ‘We Are Lonely’: a six-part reality documentary podcast series, where four people meet with mentors and experts to help them build strategies for connection.
I had the privilege of being one of those mentors. Getting to know and help guide Aleks Hammo has been one of the most meaningful and vulnerable experiences I’ve ever had, not just in my career but in life.
With 1 in 3 Australians experiencing loneliness, the UK having a minister for loneliness and the US Surgeon General declaring loneliness a health epidemic, now more than ever we’re all needing more connection.
Huge thanks to Medibank, Ranieri & Co, Liz and Simon at Headline Productions, and all the team for what has been such a special ride. You’ve done an amazing job.
