Australian singer/songwriter Barry Southgate is an aspiring new artist who released his single, ‘Don’t You Think?’, on iTunes recently. His EP is titled ‘Epitome’, and it will be released during the first quarter of 2011. LA photographer, Steven Taylor (John Mayer, Bruno Mars, Jordin Sparks, Ne-Yo), shot the project’s artwork in Sydney late last year. You can read more about him over at his official website.
‘Don’t You Think?’ definitely has a catchy sing-along chorus perfect for the summer blues. As a matter of fact, the reggae-tinged pop cut is reminiscent to Olly Murs meets Bruno Mars. Plus, the song is nicely glossed over with a smooth, yet soulful vocal delivery. Take a listen to the track below and post your thoughts.
