Thanks Daily Telegraph for the love today, really appreciate it.
You know, the road to my dream’s been pretty rough. It really took a lot for me to put myself out there & audition for The X-Factor.
Growing up in South Auckland, singing Stevie Wonder’s “Lately” at my very first talent show, I could never have imagined performing at a talent show of this magnitude.
Man, so nerve-racking! But all you can do is just step out & give it your best…

What do Roy Billing, Didier Cohen, Danielle Cormack, Wayne Blair and myself have in common?
We’re all ambassadors of Dry July: a not-for-profit organisation all about improving the lives of adults living with cancer, and giving up alcohol for the month of July.
It would mean the world if you could open your wallets and make a donation – no matter how big or small. Not a cent of it goes to me. I don’t benefit from doing this in any way, neither is it for “good PR” or anything lame like that.
I’m an ambassador for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation and have also just lost my second mother, Audrey, to cancer – this is a cause so close to my heart.
Please click on the pic above to make a contribution and a huge difference. Thanks in advance for your time and support guys, I appreciate it.

I’ve been impatiently waiting to share this news with you guys.
Anyone who knows me will tell you health & fitness is a big part of my life. Today I’m beyond stoked to announce that I’ve officially come on board 180 Nutrition as their newest ambassador!
I’m also their very first ambassador to come from the music/entertainment world, joining the ranks of elite athletes like 2012 Australian CrossFit Champion, Chad Mackay, and James Newbury. Man… Crazy! Click the pic above for the full ambassador page.
I’m so excited about this new partnership and am proud to represent such a fresh, innovative brand. For more info on 180 Nutrition, click here.

I blogged not too long about PUMA’s new compression tights, and so now – being an even bigger fan than before – had to share these with you.
They’ve just released these sick new BioWeb Elite trainers. Some official info:
“The BioWeb Elite is a running and training shoe engineered to deliver maximum cushioning and stability. The unique web like design is carried into the actual tooling, offering seamless style and functionality from top to bottom. It wraps the foot with an innovative cage design and delivers a fresh new look in performance – super hero style, mask not required.”
Sounds ace, huh? And anyone who knows me knows I’m a superhero fanatic too, so this new style couldn’t be more fitting :p! They’re available in Oz from next Wednesday. Can’t wait to try ’em out!
